Description

The Willy Chavarria F/W 26 collection serves as a masterclass in atmospheric storytelling, blurring the lines between luxury fashion houses and high-concept cinema. Captured through the lens of photographer Diego Bendezu, this campaign leans into a noir-inspired aesthetic defined by deep, moody lighting and the precise use of chiaroscuro techniques. The imagery is anchored by a recurring, stark black-and-white striped floor and swirling atmospheric fog, which provide a graphic, theatrical stage for the collection's complex silhouettes. With fashion direction by Carlos Nazario, the project explores the interplay between oversized tailoring and delicate, evocative motifs—namely the singular red roses that appear as a haunting, symbolic refrain throughout the visuals. The casting is equally intentional, featuring a diverse ensemble of models and entertainers including Erin O'Connor and Lunay, whose composed, enigmatic stances bring a palpable sense of movement to the editorial frames. Every element, from the textured snakeskin trousers to the crisp tracksuits, is illuminated by sharp studio strobes, emphasizing the rich materiality of the garments. By balancing rigid, geometric patterns with the fluidity of smoke and cinematic portraiture, the campaign establishes a powerful, unified visual language that feels at once timeless and deeply contemporary, cementing Chavarria’s reputation for garments that are as narrative-driven as they are sartorially uncompromising.
