Wallpaper Magazine’s 'Red Heat' is a high-concept fashion editorial that centres on a vibrant primary colour palette. The series leans into architectural forms and geometric composition, utilizing natural light to frame model Birgit Kos across a diverse array of settings, from urban cityscapes and tarmac airfields to iconic desert landmarks. Through a clean, editorial lens, the imagery balances sharp silhouettes with luxurious textures. Photographer Theresa Marx leads the visual narrative, working closely with fashion stylist Jason Hughes to curate a series that contrasts sculptural, monochromatic red garments against neutral stone and metallic backdrops. The production features casting by Nicolas Bianciotto and hair styling by Erin Piper Herschleb, who rounds out the aesthetic. The project utilizes techniques including macro photography and analogue film to capture both sweeping environmental portraits and intimate beauty close-ups.
