Perfect Form, an editorial project for W Magazine, centres on the intersection of architectural silhouette and avant-garde tailoring. Photographer David Sims leads the visual direction, working alongside stylist Joe McKenna to frame high-fashion garments against both minimalist studio backdrops and atmospheric, forest-themed sets. The production leans into a range of moods, moving from clean, monochrome studio portraits to moody, soft-lit compositions. The series features models Dobi Mazurek and Ivy Stewart, with hair styling by Paul Hanlon and makeup by Yadim. The styling emphasises sculptural volume, featuring structured coats, oversized lapels, and custom headwear that explore the geometry of form. By blending graphic studio techniques with textured, narrative-driven backgrounds, the work maintains a consistent editorial focus on intricate garment construction.
