Vogue Turkey’s "Full Contrast" editorial is a study in visual tension, pairing rigorous, minimalist studio environments with avant-garde styling. Through a series of high-contrast portraits, the project explores the interplay between sculptural silhouettes and intricate fabric textures, utilizing a stark monochrome and neutral palette to elevate the subject matter. Photographer Royal Gilbert drives the aesthetic, employing bright, directional studio lighting to emphasize the graphic quality of the ensembles. The series leans into clean, precise framing, which highlights everything from voluminous headwear and layered tailoring to bold color-blocked leather pieces and elaborate fringe detailing, with production by Cenk Jake and casting by Alexandre Junior Cyprien.
