Vogue Turkey presents 'Istanbul'un Kalbinde,' a comprehensive fashion editorial that explores the intersection of contemporary design and the city's historic urban landscape. Photographer Barbaros Cangurgel documents model Ilana Hansen across a series of evocative settings, ranging from grand, wood-paneled interiors to the bustling, sun-drenched public squares and waterfronts of Istanbul. The project leans into a clean, editorial aesthetic, utilizing natural light to highlight textures in both the high-fashion wardrobe—styled by Idil Ekinil—and the ornate stone and tile work of the local architecture. Techniques such as chiaroscuro add moody depth to portraiture, while outdoor captures maintain a warm, analogue feel that grounds the styling in a candid, lived-in atmosphere. Hair stylist Hamza Sara and makeup artist Batuhan Sara contribute to the project's sleek, polished finish, with casting by Dilek Yener.
