Vogue Portugal presents 'Oceans of Life,' a sprawling fashion editorial that captures the intersection of high-concept couture and raw coastal geography. The series features model Sara Sampaio placed against the rugged, volcanic backdrop of dark sea cliffs, sandy shorelines, and natural rock caves. Photographer Élio Nogueira leans into an atmospheric, desaturated palette, utilizing soft, overcast natural light to accentuate the tactile qualities of the wardrobe. Stylist Loizos Sofokleous anchors the visuals with voluminous, sculptural gowns and intricate knitwear, which serve as a deliberate foil to the harsh, organic textures of the seaside environment. The project is further refined by hair stylist Vasco Freitas and makeup artist Jessica Carvalho, whose work reinforces a grounded, wind-swept aesthetic.
