Inspiración Pictórica is a fashion editorial series for Vogue Mexico that explores the interplay of texture, volume, and sculptural silhouettes. Captured by photographer Raul Tovar, the project leans into high-contrast studio portraiture, utilising moody chiaroscuro techniques to define the intricate detailing of the featured luxury garments. The series presents a range of aesthetics, from clean, monochromatic portraiture to rich, warm palettes set against deep red backdrops. Fashion editor and stylist Raul Guerrero curates an array of opulent textiles, including sequin-heavy evening wear and structured floral outerwear worn by model Hanne Gaby Odiele. Makeup artist Marco Castro provides refined, neutral-toned styling that balances the ornate nature of the wardrobe. The editorial highlights the tactile qualities of the clothing through precise lighting and controlled studio compositions.
