Vogue Mexico’s fashion editorial, Elegancia en Fluidez, explores structural silhouettes and contemporary tailoring through a series of evocative portraits. The project captures model Aker Ajak in a variety of settings, ranging from minimalist dark architectural studios to sunlit urban exteriors, highlighting the intersection of high fashion and graphic geometry. Photographer Raul Tovar employs a mix of low-key, chiaroscuro lighting and crisp natural light to emphasize the rich textures of leather, knitwear, and pinstripe suiting. The aesthetic leans into a moody, editorial register, with styling by Roberto Johnson that focuses on oversized sculptural collars and bold accessory placement. The visual narrative is further refined by hair styling from Hiro + Mari and makeup by Mayela Vazquez, grounding the editorial in both clean, modern compositions and a grittier, film-inspired atmosphere.
