Vogue Mexico Como En Television 2025

About

Como En Television is a fashion editorial series for Vogue Mexico that leans into the high-contrast aesthetic of the 1980s. Captured by photographer Diego Bendezu, the project features a series of portraits and full-body compositions that emphasize saturated color palettes against the stark, moody backdrop of wood-paneled interiors. The series draws on retro influences, featuring voluminous bouffant hairstyles and dramatic, theatrical makeup. Styled by Willy Chavarria, the collection pairs structured silhouettes—including leather trench coats and oversized tailoring—with vibrant, opaque tights. The execution utilizes techniques ranging from low-key chiaroscuro lighting to sharp flash photography, resulting in an editorial feel that centers on texture and bold visual contrast. Casting for the project was led by Brent Chua, with modelling from Ansley Gulielmi and Hiandra Martinez, while hair styling was provided by Joey George.
