The Midas Touch is a beauty and fashion editorial produced for Vogue Greece. Centered on sculptural aesthetics, the series captures model Lydia Reid through a lens of metallic textures and avant-garde cosmetic application. The project relies on hard light and minimalist studio backdrops to emphasize the contrast between gilded skin, intricate gold headpieces, and structural garment silhouettes. Photographed by Rui Faria, the editorial integrates precise styling by Oliver Volquardsen, who balances sharp, tailored textiles with fluid, ruched materials. The technical execution leans into chiaroscuro and macro perspectives, highlighting meticulous hair styling by Daniel Martin and detailed makeup artistry by Megumi Matsuno. Additional production support includes manicure work by Jada Ellize and casting by Dean Goodman.
