Vogue Greece presents The Midas Touch, a series of beauty and fashion editorial portraits centered on gilded aesthetics and sculptural styling. Photographed by Rui Faria, the project leans into a high-contrast visual language, utilising hard light and chiaroscuro techniques to emphasize textural details and precise metallic makeup applications.
The series features model Lydia Reid in a range of studio compositions, from extreme macro beauty shots to full-body fashion portraits. The production reflects a minimalist approach, relying on clean white backgrounds and graphic shadows to ground the complex, avant-garde beauty looks.
Creative contributors include fashion editor and stylist Oliver Volquardsen, hair stylist Daniel Martin, makeup artist Megumi Matsuno, and manicurist Jada Ellize. Casting was provided by Dean Goodman.
