Description

Face Forward is a fashion editorial series for Vogue Australia that centers on model Tarlisa Gaykamangu. The project explores a range of silhouettes, from architectural tailoring and monochrome leather ensembles to textured knitwear and floral embellishments, all set against minimalist, neutral studio backdrops. Creative direction by Justin Woo and photography by Robbie Fimmano define the project's visual language. The series employs clean, soft lighting to emphasize the juxtaposition of fabrics and sculptural set elements. Styling by Petta Chua coordinates the diverse looks, while Daren Borthwick provides hair styling, Stoj handles make-up, and Mariska Lowri executes the set design. The editorial leverages a clean aesthetic and desaturated color palettes to maintain a polished, high-fashion focus.
