Couture Around Town is a fashion editorial series for Vogue Australia featuring actor Phoebe Tonkin. The project juxtaposes the intricate volume of haute couture against the gritty, geometric reality of urban landscapes, ranging from industrial car parks and city bridges to quiet residential streetscapes. Photographed by Emma Summerton, the work utilizes analogue film to capture a high-contrast narrative that balances soft, natural light with sharp architectural shadows. The editorial, styled by Christine Centenera, highlights a diverse array of sculptural gowns and textured garments. The production team included hair stylist Tomo Jidai and makeup artist Romy Soleimani to complete the sophisticated aesthetic. Casting was managed by Rikki Keene, with manicures by Yuko Tsuchihashi.
