Ruben is a fashion editorial series produced for Parachute Magazine, exploring the intersection of military-inspired tailoring and contemporary streetwear. Photographed by Morgan Roberts with styling by Myles Mansfield-Calenti, the project presents a series of character-driven portraits that transition from minimalist studio environments to grit-heavy urban settings. The imagery utilizes a blend of desaturated palettes and monochrome tones to emphasize the intricate textures of the garments, from metallic gold braiding and fringed epaulettes to layered casual wear. Casting by Jonathan Johnson rounds out the production, which employs natural light and analogue film techniques to achieve a clean, textured aesthetic that highlights sculptural silhouettes and structured form.
