Tabayer Oera

Jul 2026
The Tabayer Oera campaign masterfully bridges the gap between high-end jewellery and unconventional still-life photography, carving out a distinct visual language that feels both architectural and tactile. Through the lens of photographer Ian Kenneth Bird, the collection moves beyond traditional product marketing to embrace a sculptural dialogue between precious materials and raw, unexpected elements. Each frame serves as an editorial study, where the polished gold and pavé gemstones of the Oera line are juxtaposed against contrasting surfaces like jagged orange rock, organic seashell cradles, and vibrant synthetic electrical cables. Set designer Eric Mestman plays a pivotal role in this visual tension, curating environments that highlight the organic, teardrop-inspired forms of the bracelets and necklaces. The campaign leans into a bold, minimalist aesthetic, utilizing consistent studio strobe lighting to ensure that every metallic reflection and gemstone facet is rendered with clinical precision. Whether isolating a singular cuff against a flat, saturated orange backdrop or layering textures of wood and resin, the imagery prioritizes clean, vertical compositions that feel contemporary and deliberate. By stripping away the noise, the work focuses intently on the interplay of color and texture, elevating the commercial jewellery presentation into a sophisticated exercise in modern composition and refined, deliberate material study.
