Ounass

Jan 2026
This refined series for Ounass masterfully navigates the intersection of high fashion and jewellery editorial, leveraging a deliberate sense of understated luxury to command the viewer's attention. Through the lens of photographer Mateusz Stefanowski, the project leans into a narrative of modern minimalism, allowing the intricate craftsmanship of each piece—from chunky resin bangles to delicate, teardrop-shaped diamond earrings—to serve as the primary focus. The visual language is anchored by a consistent, architectural backdrop of rustic stone and neutral, textured walls, providing a grounding contrast to the fluidity of the gold, silver, and gemstone accents. By utilizing natural light as a key stylistic component, Stefanowski avoids artificiality, instead opting for soft, even illumination that elevates the skin tones and metallic finishes of the accessories. Featuring model Chiara Bimbatti, the portraits balance a poised, editorial aesthetic with a clean, commercial sensibility that feels both accessible and aspirational. The styling choices, characterized by layered necklaces and deliberate garment drapery, create a cohesive story that highlights versatility. This collection successfully demonstrates how editorial portrait techniques can be harnessed to translate the tactile allure of fine jewellery into a digital medium, proving that in the world of high-end retail, a restrained, texture-focused approach often carries the most profound visual impact.
