Minga London Accessories Campaign

May 2026
The Minga London accessories campaign masterfully merges the raw, rebellious energy of punk subculture with the precision of contemporary fashion editorial photography. Under the expert lens of photographer Carlos Victimo, the project creates a high-contrast visual narrative that prioritizes texture and industrial detail. Featuring model Lola Varley, the campaign leans into an avant-garde aesthetic, utilizing sharp, metallic accents—from spiked knuckle dusters to mechanical earrings—that demand attention against stark, monochromatic backdrops. The styling, bolstered by the meticulous work of makeup artist Marie Guillon, emphasizes a juxtaposition between soft, high-gloss pinks and the harsh, rigid surfaces of leather belts and silver studs. Through a series of tight portraits and macro shots, the campaign employs studio strobe lighting to ensure every stud, chain-link, and glossy lip texture is rendered with clinical clarity. By eschewing environmental clutter in favor of a clean, minimalist studio environment, the imagery highlights the utility and attitude of the accessories themselves. This series functions as a bold statement on contemporary style, where traditional fashion photography meets the defiant, unpolished spirit of the underground. Each frame serves as a calculated study in tension, balancing the grit of heavy metal and studded leather against the polish of high-fashion lighting and refined beauty direction, ultimately solidifying Minga London's distinct visual identity in the accessories market.
