Land Rover
Wyoming 2025

Jun 2025
The Wyoming 2025 campaign for Land Rover Defender leans into a rugged, high-contrast aesthetic that captures the intersection of technical performance and raw wilderness. Through a mix of monochrome film-grain portraiture and vibrant, cinematic lifestyle photography, the project documents an immersive expedition across varied terrain, from rocky cliff faces to expansive riverside landscapes. Photographer Paul Hempstead and creative director Jack Becht employ a documentary-led approach, prioritising authentic motion and the grit of outdoor adventure. Styling by Ian Bradley defines the visual identity of the project, focusing on layered performance gear, high-visibility palettes, and functional technical apparel. The imagery moves between intense, close-up action sequences—such as climbing and kayaking—and quiet, moody moments at golden hour, framing the vehicle as a central element of the landscape. The execution emphasises natural textures and an earthy, desaturated palette to highlight the interplay between the human form and the environment.
