In Bloom is a fashion editorial series for U Repubblica that explores the interplay of structured tailoring and textured layering. The project juxtaposes minimalist studio portraits with outdoor scenes set against park greenery and classical architecture, highlighting the evolution of menswear-inspired silhouettes through varying degrees of formality. Photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch and stylist Robbie Spencer define the visual language of the story, transitioning from high-contrast monochrome studio shots to light-filled, desaturated compositions captured in natural daylight. The work focuses on the tactile qualities of the garments, utilizing directional lighting and chiaroscuro techniques to emphasize sculptural shapes and intricate fabric combinations.
