Shaping up to the Future is a fashion editorial series produced for Twin Magazine. Captured by photographer Georgia Devey Smith, the project explores the interplay between sculptural tailoring and tactile textile work. Featuring model Roe Elema, the series leans into clean, minimalist studio environments to emphasize intricate details like cascading fringe, open-knit crochet, and layered monochrome textures. Stylist Lorna McGee constructs a narrative defined by bold silhouettes, ranging from oversized outerwear to precise, tailored suiting. The aesthetic is anchored by deliberate, soft lighting and a focus on physical form. Hair by Ryuta Saiga and makeup by Mattie White complement the garments with polished, versatile looks, while casting is directed by Megan McCluskie and manicures are provided by Charly Avenell.
