Tales From The Country, the editorial feature for Twin Magazine Issue 32, explores a pastoral aesthetic through a series of evocative fashion portraits. Photographed by Suleika Mueller, the project juxtaposes high-fashion silhouettes against rural and interior settings, leaning into saturated primary tones and textural contrasts. The series features model Laura Rudd, with fashion styling by Julia Brenard. The compositions utilise natural light and, in specific frames, analogue film techniques to heighten the interplay between the intricate textiles—ranging from chunky knits to sheer knits—and the organic surroundings. Casting by Emilie Åström and makeup artistry by Ciara O'Shea anchor the editorial’s cohesive, earth-toned visual language.
