Puddle Portal is a fashion editorial feature for Twin Magazine’s SS25 issue, captured by photographer Javier Castán. The series explores sculptural silhouettes and avant-garde textures, positioning model Nazarit Machín against industrial corrugated backdrops and expansive open-air landscapes. The imagery leverages natural light and reflective water surfaces to create distorted, ethereal portraits that play with symmetry and perspective. The editorial leans into an analogue film aesthetic, utilizing tactile layering and vibrant color accents to ground the high-fashion styling. With fashion direction by Alicia Padrón, the project emphasizes textural contrast through the use of voluminous ruffles, translucent plastics, and layered lace. Supporting the visual narrative, Fernando Torrent provides hair styling and Iria Salgado provides makeup, with casting by Monika Domarke.
