L'Officiel Malaysia Turn Up The Volume 2026

About

Turn Up The Volume is a fashion editorial series produced for L'Officiel Malaysia. The project features a sequence of portraiture and full-body studies that explore architectural tailoring and textural contrast, utilising a minimalist studio environment to anchor the avant-garde silhouettes of the garments. The aesthetic leans into a clean, editorial approach, alternating between stark monochrome palettes and soft-lit colour compositions. Shot by photographer Louis Christopher, the series employs a mix of natural light and studio lighting techniques to highlight fabric folds, beaded embellishments, and sculptural shapes. Styling by Jungle Lin emphasises structural volume, while hair styling by Yukie Yamasaki and makeup by Deanna Melluso provide a precise, polished finish. The work features a blend of analogue film and clean digital captures.
