Shadows for Tommy’s explores atmospheric visual storytelling through a lo-fi lens. The film features heavy VHS distortion and scan line artifacts to create a textured, nostalgic quality that leans into an experimental aesthetic.
The project was brought to life by the creative team at Special London, with production support provided by Biscuit Filmworks UK. Post-production and VFX were handled by Machine Shop and Selected Works, with the latter also overseeing music and sound design. The visual execution utilizes a grainy, cinematic approach to frame its subject.
