The Sitting is a menswear editorial series for U Repubblica that explores texture and form through a series of composed, interior portraits. Creative director Ben Kelway and photographer Luca Strano employ soft, natural light to emphasize the materiality of leather, shearling, and patterned textiles, setting a quiet and contemplative mood. The project leans into a clean, minimalist aesthetic, with the subjects arranged in candid, relaxed positions against neutral wall backdrops. Fashion direction by Giovanni Dario Laudicina and styling by Tommaso Palamin guide the sartorial narrative, which prioritizes layering and classic tailoring. The editorial features models Jakob Lindhorst and Orlando Spence, with hair styling by Marco Minunno and casting by Piergiorgio Del Moro.
