The Perfect Magazine unveils its Issue 8.5, a multi-cover editorial series that channels a cinematic approach to contemporary portraiture. Featuring Kim Kardashian and Kate Moss, the collection of covers leans into high-end editorial aesthetics, utilising bold, graphic typography and deliberate studio environments to ground the subjects. The project blends polished studio lighting with atmospheric, low-key staging to create a cohesive yet varied visual narrative across the edition. Photographers Steven Klein and Nadia Lee Cohen capture the series, working alongside fashion editors Jahleel Weaver and Katie Grand to define the look. The covers traverse a wide range of visual textures, from glossy leather and structured architectural backdrops to clean, minimalist portraits, executed through techniques including analogue film and chiaroscuro lighting.
