The New York Times - The Truth Is Worth It: Fearlessness
Apr 2019
The New York Times explores the rigors of investigative journalism in this documentary project, developed in collaboration with Droga5 London. The piece leans into cinematic framing and a dark, atmospheric aesthetic to highlight the process behind high-stakes reporting. Featuring live-action techniques, the work uses a series of high-contrast visuals—including cityscapes at night and granular close-ups of recording equipment—to pace its narrative. Production was handled by Furlined, with extensive post-production, VFX, and animation provided by Significant Others and Company 3 New York. Sound design and music were managed by Wave Studios, while Final Cut London oversaw the editorial process.
