The Earth Motif project for The Motif Magazine presents a collection of monochrome editorial imagery that explores organic forms and human portraiture. Across the series, photographer Hordur Ingason and creative director Jakob de Tobon employ a clean, minimalist aesthetic, balancing sculptural floral studies with contemplative portraits. Executed with an emphasis on negative space and refined serif typography, the layout features the recurring motifs To Mother Earth and Homie, I love you. The visual narrative leans into the qualities of analogue film, utilizing soft tonal contrast and sharp compositional framing to maintain a restrained, elegant tone throughout the issue. Fashion styling by Dimphy den Otter, hair by Magdalena Loza, and makeup by Suzanne Verberk define the series' visual language, with models Anna de Rijk, Bess Van Noord, Farah Nieuwburg, Farhiya Shire, Marte Mei van Haaster, and Roe Elema.
