The Manual Review The Menswear Edit 2026

About

The Menswear Edit is an editorial fashion series for The Manual Review, showcasing a range of contemporary tailoring and textured knitwear. The project centers on model Takfarines Bengana, captured across a series of stark, minimalist interiors and seamless studio backgrounds. Photographer Ben Beagent leverages natural light to define the mood, ranging from crisp, high-contrast geometric shadows to soft, golden-hour warmth. The imagery frequently employs analogue film techniques to lend a tactile, grainy quality to the clean compositions. Styling by Joseph Ecorchard highlights intricate detailing—from metallic sequins to patterned textiles—while production by Olya Siniakov and casting by Anita Bitton maintain a refined, consistent aesthetic throughout the shoot. Makeup artist Ruben Masoliver and Miwa Moroki contributed to the editorial vision.
