The Ski Edit, an editorial project by The Manual Review, presents a refined exploration of alpine performance wear and winter sports accessories. The series leans into a clean, minimalist aesthetic, balancing high-fashion textures with the rigid geometry of skiing equipment. Through a collection of studio portraits and still lifes, the work highlights the intersection of technical performance and contemporary design. Photographer Rosie Harriet Ellis captures the series with soft, diffused lighting, emphasizing the tactile surfaces of knitwear, technical outerwear, and reflective hardware. Creative direction by Juan Duque and Nima Habibzadeh unites the visual narrative, featuring model Lara Menezes in a variety of seasonal ensembles. The production is rounded out by fashion styling by Suzannah Snow and set design by Harry Stayt, creating a cohesive, high-key atmosphere throughout.
