T Magazine’s Exit Stage Left is a fashion editorial series that places high-concept tailoring within the raw, unvarnished environment of an artist’s studio. The project blends physical movement with the tactile nature of painting, capturing models and performers in dynamic, action-oriented poses against expressive, paint-splattered canvases. Photographer Levon Baird uses natural light and long exposure techniques to emphasize both the grit of the studio setting and the fluidity of the subjects. Creative director Justin Woo coordinates the interplay between structured luxury garments and the chaotic textures of the creative process, further defined by distinct make-up looks from Stoj Bulic and hair styling by Michael Brennan. The series relies on a clean, editorial aesthetic to bridge the gap between contemporary fashion and fine art.
