The Haven project for Suncorp Insurance serves as a documentary-style investigation into the escalating impacts of climate change across Australia. The film examines the practical realities of extreme weather events, specifically tracking the aftermath of severe bushfires and widespread flooding alongside ongoing adaptation strategies. Produced with contributions from PXP Studios, Revolver, Le Polish Bureau, and Hogarth Sydney, the film utilizes a mix of high-altitude drone footage and grounded, live-action cinematography. Creative development was led by the team at Leo Burnett Australia, focusing on a narrative structure that moves between catastrophic documentation of natural disasters and the methodical efforts of emergency responders and property recovery teams.
