Holding it Together is a multi-faceted fashion editorial produced for Study Magazine. Through a series of varied portraiture and candid scenes, the project explores contemporary styling against both controlled studio backgrounds and natural exterior settings. Photographer Roe Ethridge captures a range of compositions, moving between the precise, direct lighting of a studio environment and the warm, lo-fi aesthetic of natural light. Fashion editor Akari Endo-Gaut defines the visual narrative through a mix of athletic-inspired garments, avant-garde textures, and clean, layered silhouettes. With casting by Rachel Chandler, the editorial leans into a raw, documentary-adjacent mood. The imagery makes use of specific techniques, including analogue film processes and clean, graphic framing, to maintain a cohesive yet playful visual dialogue throughout the series.
