Standing Ground’s Spring 2025 Ready-to-Wear collection explores structural minimalism, focusing on architectural silhouettes and fluid materiality. Designer Michael Stewart’s latest offerings lean into the interplay between form and fabric, utilizing intricate ruching, sculptural draping, and beading to create garments that possess a deliberate, avant-garde elegance. The collection is captured in a series of editorial portraits that emphasize clean lines and precision. Photographer Daniel Archer frames the collection against a neutral, mottled grey backdrop, employing soft, directional lighting to highlight the tactile qualities of velvet, leather, and draped jersey. Art direction by Eibhlín Albert-Doran and styling by Tallulah Harlech refine the presentation, favoring a minimalist aesthetic that allows the complex construction of the pieces—ranging from hooded gowns to structured maxi skirts—to remain the focal point.
