Tokyo Nudity is a fashion editorial series for SSAW Magazine, shot by photographer Takashi Homma. The project explores a documentary-style approach to contemporary fashion, juxtaposing avant-garde garments against the raw, utilitarian landscapes of Tokyo’s urban infrastructure, including concrete overpasses and damp asphalt streets. The series features fashion styling by Shotaro Yamaguchi and hair styling by Rie Shiraishi, whose work emphasizes a clean aesthetic. The imagery utilizes natural light and an analogue film technique to capture a muted, desaturated color palette that highlights the textural contrast between the subjects and their industrial surroundings.
