Tokyo Nudity is an editorial feature for SSAW Magazine, capturing a series of portraits and landscapes across Tokyo’s urban infrastructure. Photographed by Takashi Homma, the project leans into a documentary-style aesthetic that contrasts textured, high-fashion apparel with the raw, industrial surroundings of concrete overpasses and pedestrian walkways. The series utilizes an observational approach, relying on natural light to highlight the interplay between soft, muted color palettes and the stark geometry of the city. With fashion styling by Shotaro Yamaguchi and hair styling by Rie Shiraishi, the editorial creates a clean, analogue-film feel that emphasizes the subject's presence against weathered architecture and dense foliage.
