SSAW Magazine presents a conceptual fashion editorial exploring the sculptural silhouettes of Comme Des Garçons. Photographed by Ola Rindal, the series captures model Ilya Vermeulen in a collection of avant-garde garments defined by voluminous layers, geometric patterns, and intricate fabric construction. Working with fashion editor and stylist Tuomas Laitinen, the visual narrative employs a range of techniques including long exposure, motion blur, and direct flash. These editorial images maintain a minimal, low-key aesthetic, utilising clean backdrops and chiaroscuro lighting to draw focus to the complex textures of the wearable art. Hair by Nicolas Philippon and makeup by Eny Whitehead complement the structural nature of the clothing, while casting was directed by Alexandra Sandberg.
