Description

Captured for SSAW Magazine, 'Colin in Leather' is a fashion editorial series that explores the sculptural and tactile properties of leather. Through a moody and cinematic lens, the project features model Colin Otto in a range of structured silhouettes, from heavy coats and tailored jackets to fitted shorts and gloves. Photographer Zac Bayly utilizes high-contrast flash lighting and low-key chiaroscuro techniques to accentuate the grain and sheen of the garments. Under the creative direction of Chris Vidal Tenomaa and styling by Tuomas Laitinen, the editorial transitions between raw, nocturnal outdoor environments and quiet, domestic interiors. The work is rounded out with makeup by Miika Kemppainen and casting by Chouaib Arif.
