Snow Beach
Brand Identity

Apr 2018
The brand identity for Snow Beach, a Los Angeles-based production house, establishes a striking visual language that prioritizes bold graphic clarity and high-contrast composition. Developed by the design firm Lundgren+Lindqvist, the identity leans into a monochromatic, saturated red and black palette, creating an immediate and memorable aesthetic that cuts through the noise of traditional corporate branding. The project utilizes a sophisticated grid system and minimalist sans-serif typography to organize complex information, ranging from business collateral like address-stamped cards to high-end digital UI illustrations for the studio’s landing page. By integrating cinematic textures—such as mesh backgrounds and matte surfaces—the identity moves beyond flat graphic design, employing 3D render and CGI techniques to give the assets a tangible, tactile quality. This approach effectively bridges the gap between commercial utility and artistic expression, utilizing motion graphics and hard light to frame the brand as a modern, premium player in the creative industry. Through deliberate color blocking and a structured numbering system, the identity reflects a polished, professional ethos that maintains a distinct, edgy signature. The result is a cohesive, contemporary system that feels both functional for a production studio and elevated enough to function as a standalone art piece, effectively defining the Snow Beach presence in the competitive Los Angeles market.
