Shanghai Tang introduces the Winter 2024 collection in collaboration with artist Chen Man. This fashion campaign centers on the '積翠' series, featuring model Jingwen Jia in a sequence of portraits that explore the intersection of traditional Mandarin-collar silhouettes and contemporary botanical motifs. Captured through a moody, low-key chiaroscuro lens, the imagery relies on deliberate, directional lighting to define the structural forms of the garments. The project emphasizes a refined contrast between deep red studio backdrops and sharp accents of vibrant green, highlighting the interplay of velvet, silk, and lace textures. Chen Man’s editorial approach frames the collection with a focus on contemplative, serene compositions.
