Labyrinthe du Soi, a conceptual beauty and fashion editorial for Revue Magazine, explores the intersection of high-concept styling and intimate portraiture. Through a series of macro studies and studio portraits, the project interrogates textures—from glossy, metallic pigments and intricate cosmetic applications to sculptural hair arrangements and avant-garde tailoring. Photographer Arash Khaksari utilizes a mix of chiaroscuro lighting and crisp studio flash to isolate his subjects against minimal, often desaturated backdrops. The editorial aesthetic relies on the interplay between the human form and carefully curated props, with art direction supported by fashion editor Eline Hoyois, hair stylist Pierre Saint Sever, makeup artist Laura Dominique, and set designer Clara Lasagna.
