Replica Man Magazine
On/Off

Jul 2026
For the latest issue of Replica Man Magazine, the editorial feature titled On/Off masterfully navigates the tension between raw intimacy and controlled fashion narrative. Photographed by Andy Jackson, the series leans into a distinct editorial aesthetic, utilizing natural light to elevate the tactile interplay between skin, high-end leather, and textured knitwear. Rather than relying on ornate settings, the project finds its power in the quiet domesticity of confined spaces, utilizing the clean lines of minimalist interiors to frame its subjects with stark, intentional precision. Fashion editor and stylist Erik Ziemba curates a wardrobe that dances between classic tailoring and provocative silhouettes, expertly supported by casting from Ricky Michiels, who selected models including Anthony Foster, Charlie Pavia, and Erik Lemus-Calderon to bring a grounded, human energy to the portraiture. The execution is remarkably balanced; the movement direction by Ash Rucker, combined with precise set design by Maisie Sattler, allows the models to occupy the frame with a quiet, lingering authority. With hair styling by Tsuki and makeup by Ai Yokomizo, the project avoids the polished sterility of standard fashion shoots, opting instead for a gritty, organic warmth. Whether capturing a cascading glass of water or the stillness of a bedroom, the collection feels like a contemporary exploration of masculinity, rendered in a series of images that feel both vulnerable and undeniably composed.
