Reaching New Heights is a fashion editorial series for Manifesto Magazine that prioritizes tactile garment detailing through a minimalist lens. Captured by photographer Keir Laird, the project oscillates between stark, high-contrast studio portraiture and expansive, naturalistic rooftop settings. The series features model Trinidad Castaño, who wears a range of intricately textured pieces—including fringed jackets, sheer botanical-print dresses, and feather-adorned tops. These stylistic choices are brought to life through the work of fashion stylist Thea Lewis-Yates and hair stylist Quentin Guyen. Technically, the project leans into natural light and analogue film aesthetics to emphasize fabric depth and composition. With casting directed by Marina Fairfax and editing by Jonathan Yee, the collection offers a clean and cohesive visual narrative.
