Description

Piano Nobile is a fashion editorial series for Harper's Bazaar Italia that explores the interplay between avant-garde tailoring and raw, weathered environments. Photographed by Allan Hamitouche, the project oscillates between moody, high-contrast studio portraits and atmospheric outdoor sequences set within dense forests and decaying architectural interiors. The series features styling by Paul Sinclaire, who contrasts sculptural, metallic-pleated gowns and intricate headpieces with heavy, textured outerwear and classic patterns. The production is characterized by a deliberate use of chiaroscuro lighting and a desaturated, analogue film aesthetic that heightens the tactile quality of the garments against crumbling concrete and aged wooden floors. Creative leads for the project include casting director Anita Bitton, with hair styling by David Harborow and makeup by Cécile Paravina. The editorial features models Ari Seymour, Kaja Krawczyk, Luka De Jong, Matilde Lucidi, Matthew Poisson, and Orlando Spence, with additional production detail provided by manicurist Samia Kassa.
