For the July issue of PAP Magazine, Requiem Symphony is a theatrical editorial series that explores the boundaries of avant-garde fashion through a surrealist lens. Photographer Willy Villacorta captures a high-contrast narrative, blending gothic aesthetics with whimsical, doll-inspired motifs across a series of studio compositions. The project leans into a dramatic, moody atmosphere, utilizing both direct hard flash and low-key chiaroscuro lighting to define intricate garment textures and sculptural silhouettes. Each frame emphasizes tactile details—from shredded netting and tiered ruffles to leather and metallic adornments—set against recurring motifs of crimson drapery and antique prop assemblages.
