Running Errands is a fashion editorial series for PAP Magazine that explores the intersection of classical architecture and contemporary avant-garde styling. Through a series of gritty, high-contrast portraits, the work juxtaposes retro-inspired elements—such as vintage rotary telephones and ornate stone alcoves—with bold, textured ensembles including pleated ruffs and feathered accessories. Photographer Ovidiu Oltean employs a cinematic visual language characterized by moody, monochrome color grades and dynamic lighting. The series leans into a theatrical, nostalgic aesthetic, often utilizing flash and chiaroscuro techniques to heighten the architectural details of urban European settings.
