For 'The Utopian,' Other Scenes Magazine presents a sprawling fashion editorial that leans into the intersection of monumental architecture and contemporary tailoring. Photographed by Alex Huanfa Cheng, the series balances high-contrast geometric urban environments with intimate, introspective portraiture. The aesthetic is defined by an interplay of clean lines and negative space, grounding the narrative in a palette of earthy tones and soft, diffused natural light. Fashion direction by Julie Ragolia drives the editorial’s sophisticated visual language, featuring structured trench coats, textured overlayers, and minimalist silhouettes worn by models Merel Roggeveen and Mike Vasilakis.
