Description

The brand identity for Olympus is a comprehensive visual system that bridges classical sculptural history with contemporary commercial design. Developed through a cross-disciplinary collaboration between M35, architect George Livissianis, photographer Tom Ferguson, and web developers Liquid Protocol, the project spans print, architectural, and digital touchpoints. The identity leans into a minimalist aesthetic, anchored by a distinct monochromatic blue palette and precise serif typography. Graphic assets, including editorial layouts, menu designs, and screen-printed patterns, frequently feature classical sculptural fragments and artifacts rendered in sharp, high-contrast monochrome. This approach creates a cohesive visual language that feels both historical and refined. Architectural elements further the brand’s identity, with interior spaces defined by circular geometries and natural light. The design team employed clean, symmetrical layouts across all media, from technical floor plans to detailed editorial spreads, ensuring that the minimalist philosophy remains consistent across physical and digital environments.
