Whispers of Spring is a fashion editorial produced for Nylon China, capturing a series of studio-based portraits and still-life compositions. Photographer Xiuyu Chang balances avant-garde styling with organic, minimalist forms, creating a cohesive visual narrative across a variety of diptych layouts. The series features model Xue Gu in structured and sculptural silhouettes, ranging from voluminous draped dresses to tailored tweed suits. Throughout the project, these fashion looks are punctuated by intricate botanical details, macro shots of natural objects, and clean studio aesthetics that lean into a soft, monochromatic palette. The execution prioritizes clean lines and soft lighting to highlight the textures of both the garments and the creative still-life elements.
