Surréel is a fashion editorial series for Numéro France, lensed by photographer Koto Bolofo. The project channels surrealist themes through a monochromatic lens, utilising natural light to capture stark textural contrasts against expansive, overcast outdoor landscapes. Featuring model Hannah Motler, the editorial leans into experimental composition, integrating elements like forced-perspective props, reflective surfaces, and prosthetic details to define its aesthetic. Creative direction is driven by fashion editor Rebecca Bleynie, with hair styling by Annesofie Begtrup and makeup by Maria Olsson. The series maintains a consistent visual identity, relying on high-contrast monochrome grading and analogue-inspired framing to explore form and scale across its vertical layouts.
