Numéro France: Playtime
Sep 2026
Playtime is a fashion editorial produced for Numéro France, featuring a series of high-contrast portraits that explore exaggerated silhouettes and tactile materials. The imagery leans into a minimalist aesthetic, utilizing a clean, white seamless studio backdrop to isolate and emphasize the structural complexity of each outfit. The series features model Aluel Keror, who is captured in a variety of avant-garde looks. Photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino employs soft, high-key lighting to draw out intricate textures—from feathered plumage and glossy vinyl to structured leather and shaggy fur. The editorial’s styling, led by fashion editor Charles Varenne, integrates graphic proportions with playful, surrealist accessories. Contributing to the visual identity of the project are hair stylist Daniel Martin and makeup artist Marion Robine, who provide precise, sculptural grooming to complement the graphic nature of the fashion design.
