Paradis Latin is a high-fashion editorial series produced for Numéro France. Captured by photographer Anthony Arquier, the work draws on the aesthetics of cabaret culture and theater heritage to create a cinematic visual narrative. The series utilizes moody, chiaroscuro lighting and warm, ambient tones to highlight the intricate textures of contemporary luxury pieces, ranging from heavily embellished sequin gowns to structured velvet tailoring. Fashion editor and stylist Joana Dacheville leans into an immersive, theatrical setting, utilizing backstage environments and opulent, red-walled interiors to frame the subjects. Models Josephen Akuei and Matilde de Nard anchor the story, with hair styling by Sadek Lardjane and makeup by Lloyd Simmonds completing the polished aesthetic. The project prioritizes atmosphere, capturing the grit and glamour of a performance space through an editorial lens.
