Paradis Latin is a fashion editorial series for Numéro France that leans into a cinematic, cabaret-inspired aesthetic. Photographed by Anthony Arquier, the work centers on theatrical storytelling, utilizing moody lighting and low-key chiaroscuro techniques to capture opulent interiors and stage environments. Models Josephen Akuei and Matilde de Nard anchor the visuals, appearing in a range of environments from backstage dressing rooms to the ornate, red-walled spaces of a historic theater venue. Styling by fashion editor Joana Dacheville highlights a high-fashion approach to texture, pairing crystal-embellished corsets and feathered headpieces with sharp tailoring. The narrative is further defined by the contributions of hair stylist Sadek Lardjane and makeup artist Lloyd Simmonds, whose work emphasizes detailed, atmospheric grooming. Through flash-lit and natural light compositions, the project creates a gritty, immersive look at performance and performance spaces.
